Rapid City's honored rose garden on 'Garden Line'

"Garden Line" is back on the air tonight. Faculty and Extension educators will be on hand for the weekly TV show to offer advice on gardening, plants, trees and lawn care. The season opener features the Memorial Gardens in Rapid City, home to 1,200 roses. The garden has been picked as an All American Selection Rose Garden, says Cynthia Bergman, Extension horticulture educator for Yankton County.

Flower enthusiasts feted at annual UCDavis Rose Day

Rose enthusiasts and avid gardeners will join nursery industry experts and University of California researchers on Friday at UC Davis, for the campus's third annual Rose Day. A rose sale, open to the public, will take place that afternoon and again on Saturday.
